“This body of work confronts and reflects the eternal issues around mortality and legacy. These complex concepts were thrusted into my reality
when an abstract image of my deceased father, revealed itself on a piece of newsprint. This extremely profound and emotional moment pushed
my work into a very unexpected and unique space. This series honours and acknowledges the lives of some of my dead relatives. Every line a memory, every brush stroke a reminder of our own mortality and place in this world and beyond.
