SVDM PARTICIPATING IN 10 WORDS 20 ARTISTS PROJECT

2014 was a very productive and successful year for Schalk.

The prosperous year got even better when Ross Chowles, curator & owner of Bright Creative Space, invited Schalk to participate in the group exhibition; 10 Words 20 Artists. Ten words were chosen by Ross and 20 artists asked to paint only one halve off a canvas, not knowing who the other artist would be, or what they would be painting. The results are both shocking and astonishing at the same time.

The project sees some of South Africa's top designers and artists collaborate with 25% of the proceeds going to "Brands for Literacy Project".

The "one-day-only" event will open on Wednesday, 28 January at Bright Creative Space in Woodstock.
